Chhata Holi, Dhamaun :- The fragrance of rural soil is hidden in the Holi of Dhamaun village, located at a distance of 42 kilometers from Samastipur district headquarters. Huge, artistic bamboo umbrellas are made in every hamlet of this village. 30-35 umbrellas made in the whole village are decorated with colored paper and bells. On the morning of Holi, with these umbrellas, all the villagers gather in their family deity Niranjan temple, offer Abir-Gulal and sing “Dhammar” and “Holi” to the rhythm of Dhol-Harmonium.
